Job Summary: Valet helps to ensure that the valet service offered by Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club meets or exceeds our members and guests expectations. Since they are often the first people to make contact. As a Valet, you will be responsible for welcoming in a friendly and warm manner. Opening vehicle doors and aiding in personal belongings. Assisting in walking to and from the club house entrance if needed. The main responsibility of a Valet is to ensure that members and guests vehicles remain safe during their time at Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club. Driving vehicles to designated areas and safely parking them. Recording parking spots and placing keys in a safe location. Retrieving vehicles when members and guests are ready to leave. Directing traffic in the valet area and sometimes in parking lots. Successful candidates must have a passion for the hospitality industry, commitment to excellence, great communication skills, strong work ethic, and understand the importance of teamwork. Requirements: A valid driving license Clean driving and background check record Sound knowledge working with manual and automatic vehicles Thorough understanding of traffic laws and regulations Excellent organizational and time management skills Good physical stamina Strong work ethics Ensure all interactions with members are in a highly professional and efficient manner. Keeping in mind the highest level of confidentiality and respect for residents, members, guests, and staff. Ability to work in an environment that is not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes with exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid or windy weather conditions for long periods of time. Ability to stand continuously and perform job functions for a full shift.
