Come join our award-winning team as part-time Valet at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City. Position is part-time, Saturdays/Sundays, 3pm-11pm. Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test, have a valid driver license and clean driving record. Pay is hourly with potential for tips.
As Valet, you will greet guests in a professional manner as they arrive at the hotel, ensuring their needs are met. Guests will feel at ease when they leave their car with you or request for a car to be ready for their early departure.

Duties include:
- Extend a warm, friendly welcome to arriving guests.
- Carefully and efficiently park, secure, and retrieve vehicles.
- Respond helpfully to guest questions about the property, getting around and nearby happenings.
- Communicate parking procedures to guests.
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Graciously assist guests with issues arising out of the parking experience.
- Making sure all public areas/walkways are safe and clutter-free. (This includes helping Maintenance Department in the winter with snow removal).
- Consistently demonstrate conscientious cash handling in accordance with departmental procedures
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 21+, pass a mandatory background check and drug test.
- Must possess a valid driver license with clean driving record
- A calm, service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to drive manual and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to effectively monitor hotel for any safety/security issues.
- Strong communication skills.
- This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 40 pounds occasionally, walking and running during high business levels to retrieve cars.
- High school education or equivalent experience is required, with prior customer service experience helpful.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred
