Valet Shift Manager

Job Details 

• Facilitates service and operating strategies that exceed the expectations of Parx Casino customers.
• Monitors the quality of service provided by valet personnel relative to Parx Casino service and operating standards.
• Remains in the valet parking operation at all times, and proactively coordinates the traffic flow in valet parking areas so that it is moving quickly, safely, and smoothly at all times. Report any unsafe conditions immediately
• Assists in preparing reports in instances where claims of damages/.theft are reported by guests.
• Verifies accurate settlement of banks for valet parking attendants.
• Evaluates performance of direct staff members, and consistently documents both positive and constructive feedback relative to Parx Casino service and operating standards.
• Assist the Valet Parking Manager in preparing an annual budget
• Manages the Valet Parking Team in Line with Company policies
• Recruit, train, develop and schedule all Valet Parkers
• Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of all Company events and promotions and ensure Valet Parkers are briefed accordingly
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Must have excellent organizational and planning skills, and strong communication skills.
2. Must be able to run, walk, stand, bend, kneel, stretch, push, pull, lift, and carry weight for a full 8 hour shift.
3. Must have valid driver’s license. Must be able to operate both automatic and manual vehicles.
4. Must be able to work all shifts, and weekends/holidays as required. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
