Job Description

Pay Range: $37.85hr - $42.85hr

Job Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining sophisticated validation tool drivers and test infrastructure. Duties include debugging system regression failures and collaborating closely with various engineering teams to implement features and resolve system-level issues. The role involves validating system-level features and blocks for new hardware generations.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar program with a focus on Software Engineering.
  • Excellent programming skills with demonstrated experience in low-level C and Python programming.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with a deep understanding of validation principles.
  • Strong technical communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated software engineering experience.
  • Experience in device driver development or hardware programming (embedded, operating system/kernel, etc.).
  • Experience with complex software systems and architectures.
  • Experience delivering production-quality software engineering solutions on schedule.
  • Working knowledge of device driver development in C and assembly.
  • Knowledge of CPU/Client architectures.
  • Validation engineering background with strong Python scripting knowledge and C programming.
