Status: Full-Time/Non-Exempt
Summary: The Validation Specialist is responsible for supporting product validation activities through dimensional measurement, data analysis, and verification of components and assemblies against engineering requirements. This role contributes to New Product Development (NPD) and product design changes, ensuring products meet design intent and are ready for manufacturing through structured validation and testing support.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Associate’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or 1-3 years of experience).Experience in product development, prototype builds, or manufacturing environments. Familiarity with design verification, product validation, and product launch activities.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite programs. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in metrology, dimensional analysis, or validation support. (See Measurement Tools and Equipment listed above.) Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Knowledge of statistical analysis and capability studies. through the use of statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, or equivalent). Proficiency with measurement and test equipment. (See Measurement Tools and Equipment listed above.)Ability to interpret engineering drawings and revision changes. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.Experience supporting NPD programs and engineering change processes is preferred.
