Valuations Associate

A publicly traded principal investment firm based in Houston is growing its valuations team. The Valuations Analyst will play a lead role in the quarterly valuation of the firm’s portfolio company investments. The position also supports SEC reporting, management reporting, and investor presentations, providing meaningful exposure to senior leadership and the firm’s investment activity.

The role is part of a structured 24-month rotational program designed to broaden the individual’s experience beyond accounting, with opportunities to transition into a finance-focused position and work directly with the deal team.
Attributes Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (Master’s in Accounting or MBA is a plus)
• CPA required
• 1.5 – 3 years Big 4 experience with diverse client base.
• Significant exposure to general accounting is required (valuations/financial modeling)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

This role is on-site in the Galleria area and offers excellent career growth for someone interested in working on the investment side.  Our client offers a base salary of $85-90K with bonus and incentives.
