Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Valuations Analysts within our Certified Private Capital Analyst program.
This is not a traditional employment role. Valuations Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through Initio Sphere’s certification and verification process.
Once approved, Valuations Analysts:
Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform
Gain access to paid, live valuation and transaction support work
Support investors, fund managers, and operators on active deals
Build a verified valuation track record and Analyst Rating Score
Certification tiers include:
Analyst (Associate) · Lead Valuations Analyst · Senior Valuations Analyst
Rating Score: 90–100
Pay: $150–$200/hour
Typical Background: Ex-investment banking, private equity, valuation advisory, transaction services, or senior consulting professionals with 5+ years of valuation experience
Rating Score: 80–89
Pay: $100–$150/hour
Typical Background: Finance professionals with 3–5 years of valuation, modeling, or transaction experience
Rating Score: 60–79
Pay: $50–$100/hour
Typical Background: Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong valuation and financial modeling skills
Based on certification approvals, Valuations Analysts may be engaged to perform:
Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis
LBO and transaction valuation modeling
Comparable company and precedent transaction analysis
Football field valuation summaries
Sensitivity, scenario, and downside analysis
Commercial real estate valuation and underwriting
Valuation support for investment memoranda and IC materials
Fairness and pricing support (non-opinion)
Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis
Risk assessment and valuation gap analysis
Note: Analysts may only perform work in valuation categories for which they are approved. Approvals are earned through assessment performance and demonstrated quality—not tenure.
Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved Initio Sphere training
Receive valuation-specific approvals (DCF, Comps, LBO, CRE, QoE, etc.)
Get verified on the platform
Begin earning immediately through hourly valuation projects and live deals
No cold applying. No unpaid “trial work.” Verified Valuations Analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.
To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
Score 70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment
Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training
Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)
Each Valuations Analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:
Platform visibility
Approved valuation categories
Recommended hourly rates
Valuations Analysts are independent contractors, not employees
Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval scope
Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees
Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction
Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection
Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues
Valuations Analysts do not:
Provide investment advice
Issue fairness opinions
Solicit securities
Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity
All work is limited to valuation, analytical, and diligence support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
