Valve Mechanic

FieldBridge is looking for a Valve Mechanic in Pasadena, TX to work for one of the world's largest oilfield service company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.

Pay/Schedule: $25-28/hour | Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Great OT available including occasional Saturdays. At $28/hr and 48 hrs/week, for example, earn weekly paychecks of $1,456 gross.

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join the Control Department at the Pasadena, TX facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting control valves and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications, applicable codes, and customer requirements. This position focuses primarily on assembling new valves and requires a detail-oriented technician comfortable working with diagnostic equipment and precision measurement tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, and troubleshoot control valves and equipment per manufacturer and customer requirements
• Perform inspections to identify necessary corrective action and conduct Positive Material Identification
• Conduct hydro testing and calibration of measurement equipment per internal quality procedures
• Operate diagnostic equipment including Valscope and profiler
• Measure and record critical dimensions per manufacturer specifications and install instrumentation and accessories as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant mechanical assembly or control valve experience
• Experience reading calipers and using precision measurement tools
• Hydro testing experience required
• Familiarity with control valves required
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP a plus; training available if needed
