Hours: 6a-6pm 7 days a week

Job Description:
seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Valve Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of various valve systems in industrial and commercial settings. The Valve Technician will ensure that all valves operate efficiently and comply with safety and regulatory standards. This position requires a strong mechanical background and an ability to work in fast-paced and dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
Install, repair, and maintain a variety of valves (ball, gate, globe, check, pressure relief, etc.) in various systems and applications.
Perform regular inspections and diagnostics of valve systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
Troubleshoot and identify valve malfunctions, perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Testing and Calibration:

Conduct tests to ensure valves are functioning properly and meet operational standards.
Calibrate valves and other components to meet specific system requirements.
Verify valve performance under pressure and flow conditions.
Documentation:

Record maintenance, repair, and calibration procedures accurately for compliance and future reference.
Maintain logs of all valve inspections and modifications.
Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols, regulations, and company guidelines while performing work.
Ensure valve systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform risk assessments and safety checks on valve equipment.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:

Respond to emergency service calls for faulty or damaged valves.
Diagnose issues related to valve performance and implement solutions promptly.
Work with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex system issues.
Collaboration:

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to other team members when needed.
Customer Service:

Interact with clients to understand valve-related issues and provide solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by completing tasks efficiently and professionally.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or certification in a related field is a plus).
Proven experience as a valve technician or in a similar role in an industrial or mechanical setting.
Strong understanding of valve systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
Familiarity with different valve types and applications (e.g., manual, automatic, pneumatic, hydraulic).
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to valve operation and maintenance.
Proficiency in using tools and diagnostic equipment related to valve systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding conditions.
Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Comfortable working in industrial environments, including exposure to various weather conditions.
