The Van/Valet Driver is responsible for safely transporting guests and providing exceptional first impressions through courteous valet and transportation services. This role requires professionalism, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Transportation
Safely operate company vans/shuttles to transport guests to and from designated locations (e.g., airport, local attractions, parking areas)
Follow scheduled routes and maintain punctual pick-up/drop-off times
Assist guests with luggage and provide information about local areas when appropriate
Valet Services
Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Park and retrieve guest vehicles efficiently and safely
Maintain accurate records of vehicle locations and keys
Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and report any incidents
Customer Service
Deliver a high level of hospitality and professionalism at all times
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly
Represent the property in a positive and welcoming manner
Safety & Compliance
Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable vehicle at all times
Operational Support
Assist with luggage handling, door service, and other front-of-house duties as needed
Communicate effectively with front desk and bell staff to coordinate guest services
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles (preferred)
Previous valet, driving, or hospitality experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs)
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
