Job Summary:
We are seeking a Varicent Analyst with experience in incentive compensation systems, data analysis, and business requirements gathering to support the implementation and optimization of compensation solutions. This role will partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to translate compensation needs into scalable solutions within the Varicent platform. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working with compensation data, and the ability to bridge business requirements with technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology teams to design, implement, and enhance incentive compensation solutions using Varicent.
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to compensation processes, workflows, and system enhancements.
Translate compensation and business requirements into detailed data specifications, including field definitions, data mappings, transformations, and validation rules.
Perform data analysis to validate system inputs and outputs, identify data quality issues, and provide insights to support business decisions.
Collaborate with data engineering and technology teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
Support enterprise data discovery, onboarding, and integration initiatives.
Develop and maintain documentation including business requirements documents, process flows, data definitions, and system specifications.
Participate in testing activities including functional testing, validation, reconciliation, and defect resolution.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and coordinating resolution across business and technical teams.
Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and delivery activities.
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) or similar compensation management applications.
Strong understanding of incentive compensation processes, plans, calculations, and reporting.
Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends, validate data, and resolve discrepancies.
Experience with application testing, data validation, and reconciliation processes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional business and technology teams.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
