    Description

    Title: Varicent Analyst

    Location: 550 S 4th St, Minneapolis, MN

    Alternate Location: Charlotte, NC

    Duration: 5 months

    Work Engagement: W2

    Work Schedule: 3 days in office/2 days remote

    Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Varicent Analyst to support the design, implementation, and optimization of incentive compensation solutions. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineering, and technology partners to ensure compensation requirements are accurately translated into scalable technical solutions within the Varicent platform.

    The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis, data analytics, testing, and compensation knowledge with experience supporting incentive compensation systems and data-driven decision-making.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technology partners to implement and enhance incentive compensation solutions within Varicent.

    • Gather, analyze, and document business, compensation, and product requirements.

    • Translate business requirements into detailed data specifications, including:

    • Field-level definitions

    • Data transformations

    • Validation rules

    • Perform data analysis to validate inputs and outputs, identify risks, and support business decisions.

    • Collaborate with product, data engineering, and technology teams to align business requirements with technical execution.

    • Develop and maintain business and technical documentation, including requirements, process flows, data mappings, and data definitions.

    • Execute and support system, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

    • Perform reconciliation, validation, defect tracking, and issue resolution.

    • Support enterprise data discovery, onboarding, and data integration initiatives.

    • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

    • Knowledge of Incentive Compensation or Varicent application (required)

    • Experience working as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or related role.

    • Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.

    • Experience performing data analysis, validation, and reconciliation activities.

    • Knowledge of software testing methodologies and application testing processes.

    • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
