Our Lady of Mount Carmel invites applications for the position of Varsity Girls Volleyball Assistant Coach for the 2026–2027 academic year. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic leader who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills while promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and school pride.
Essential Functions:
Plan, organize, and conduct all team practices and training sessions.
Develop and implement strategies to promote individual player growth and team success.
Foster a positive, disciplined, and faith-filled team culture.
Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and character development among athletes.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
Maintain compliance with school and league policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties, as assigned, in support of the athletic program.
Position Qualifications:
Previous volleyball coaching experience preferred, ideally at the high school level.
Knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, player development, and game strategy.
Experience working with high school students.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Commitment to developing teamwork, accountability, and character within the program.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Pay Range: Stipend - $1,000 - $2,000
