Bloomer High School Varsity Softball Coach

Bloomer High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Varsity Softball Coach to lead, develop, and mentor student athletes during the upcoming softball season. The successful candidate will promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth while teaching fundamental skills of the game. The softball season begins in March.

Responsibilities include:

Planning and conducting practices that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.

• Coaching and supervising student athletes during practices and competitions.
• Promoting a positive, encouraging, and disciplined team environment.
• Collaborating with the JV coach to ensure program consistency.
• Communicating effectively with players, parents, and the athletic department.
• Modeling and promoting the values of hard work, responsibility, and sportsmanship.
• Follow and uphold all WIAA and district policies.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of softball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to positively engage and motivate high school athletes.
• Previous coaching or playing experience is preferred but not required.

This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a genuine commitment to helping student athletes succeed both on and off the field.

ABOUT OUR DISTRICT: The School District of Bloomer serves approximately 1,250 students in grades 4K-12 in a rural community 25 miles north of Eau Claire. The Districts three buildings consist of a 4K-4th grade elementary school, 5th-8th grade middle school and 9th-12th grade high school. The district has high levels of family engagement and is generously supported by the community.
