Vascular Neurologist

The Department of Neurology at Duke UniversitySchool of Medicine is seeking an additional Fellowship trained & Board-Certified Vascular Neurologist to join its expanding Stroke and Vascular Neurology Division.

• Ten primary stroke faculty, nine secondary stroke faculty and six nurse practitioners
• Vibrant research environment with over 20+M NIH research funding in the last 5 years  
• Active clinical practice at 957-bed Duke University Hospital with 6 stroke subspeciality clinic
• JCAHO certified Comprehensive Stroke Center & the Center of excellence in Cavernous Malformation
• Unique multidisciplinary eye stroke program, both inpatient and outpatient
• Regional coordinator Centers for the StrokeNet and one of Six Sites for Stroke Preclinical Assessment Network (SPAN)
• Growing telestroke network with 10 sites in NC and VA
• Excellent opportunity to develop & advance an education, clinical and translational research career
