Sioux City UnityPoint Health - Sioux City provides coordinated clinic hospital and home-based care for patients in Sioux City and the surrounding Siouxland area. St. Lukes offers a full range of services and programs that includes a state-of-the-art surgical center, Siouxland's premier birth center, 24/7 cardiovascular care and Level III emergency department. In addition UnityPoint Health - Sioux City is also home to St. Lukes College which provides high-quality health system-based education to individuals looking for careers in health care.

General Established practice serving the Sioux City community

Opportunity to practice vascular surgery in an established and well-known healthcare system

Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy while building the practice according to your preferences

Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community

Full-time position including dedicated administrative time with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access

Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination

Responsibilities Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

Excellent communication, written and verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications MD or DO

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Vascular Surgery

Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa

Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician's field of practice

Eligible to work in the United States H1-B cap exempt
