Vascular Surgeon – Sinai Medical Group | Chicago, IL
Position Overview
Sinai Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join our growing surgical services team in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a mission-driven, community-focused health system while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
The ideal candidate will be committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and advancing vascular care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive vascular surgical care, including open and endovascular procedures
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with vascular conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings
Participate in on-call coverage and hospital-based services
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., podiatry, cardiology, interventional radiology, wound care, primary care)
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Support teaching and mentorship opportunities, if applicable
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completed residency in General Surgery and fellowship in Vascular Surgery
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Vascular Surgery
Eligible for or currently holding an Illinois medical license
Strong clinical, surgical, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to delivering equitable, patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with both open and endovascular techniques
Interest in program development and expanding vascular services
Experience working in a community-based or academic-affiliated health system
