Vascular Surgeon – Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

A major medical center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania is adding a vascular surgeon to its surgical staff. This is a long-term, full-scope opportunity with a predictable weekday schedule and no RVU treadmill.

The Opportunity

• Full arterial and venous scope: open and endovascular procedures, aneurysm repair, carotid and peripheral revascularization, dialysis access, vein work
• Monday–Friday, daytime schedule; light and shared call
• Dedicated OR block time and vascular lab support
• Multi-year runway — a stable service line, not a stopgap
• $315 per hour for weekday day shifts ($2,678 per day), 1099 independent contractor
• Call paid on top: $1,150 per weeknight, $3,600 per weekend, plus $315 per hour for any callback worked
• Total annual compensation target approximately $734,000 at a full schedule

Requirements

• MD or DO, completed residency in general surgery plus fellowship in vascular surgery
• Board certified or board eligible in Vascular Surgery (ABS)
• Active, unrestricted state medical license (Pennsylvania licensure or eligibility)
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Clean malpractice and credentialing history
