Vascular Technician

Location: Rockwall, TX 75032
Duration: 15 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | Monday – Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week

We are seeking an experienced Vascular Technician to join a busy outpatient cardiovascular and vascular clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in vascular ultrasound studies along with echocardiography exposure, supporting diagnostic services across multiple clinic locations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of clinic experience within the last 3 years required.

  • Current RDCS or RCS certification required.

  • Current RVT or RVS certification required.

  • Experience performing vascular ultrasound examinations.

  • Experience with carotid, lower arterial, lower venous, ABI, and abdominal aorta studies preferred.

  • Experience with echocardiography and stress echocardiography preferred.

  • Strong diagnostic imaging and documentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and patient care abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Comfortable floating between clinic locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform vascular ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and clinic protocols.

  • Conduct carotid ultrasound, lower arterial studies, lower venous studies, ABI testing, and abdominal aorta imaging.

  • Assist with echocardiography and stress echo procedures as needed.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of imaging results.

  • Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow quality assurance standards.

  • Communicate findings and collaborate with physicians and clinical staff.

  • Provide safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care.

  • Float between clinic locations as required.

  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
