Vascular Ultrasound Technician

Doral Health & Wellness is seeking an experienced and skilled Vascular Ultrasound Technician to join our growing diagnostic imaging team in Brooklyn, NY. This position is ideal for a qualified vascular ultrasound professional with strong experience performing non-invasive vascular studies in an outpatient clinical setting.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Vascular Ultrasound Technician who takes pride in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient-centered care.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $40.00–$50.00 per hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound examinations, including arterial and venous studies.
• Perform Doppler and duplex ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
• Conduct studies for conditions such as DVT, venous insufficiency, arterial disease, and other vascular conditions.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and accurately document findings.
• Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment appropriately.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Vascular Technology program.
• Current board certification is required.
• ARDMS-RVT or equivalent vascular certification required.
• Previous experience performing vascular ultrasound, Doppler, and duplex studies.
• Strong knowledge of vascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with physicians and clinical staff.
