VCSU Music Department Student Assistant (FWS Only)

Title: VCSU Music Department Student Assistant (FWS Only)

Reports to: Brenna Schroeder / Jerrold Heide

Position Summary:

Student worker for the Music Department to help in various areas within the department. Candidates with knowledge of music-related equipment, music organization, stage managing, and the Office suite preferred. Flexible days/hours. Pay is $10.00/hour. 5-10 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Library updating and maintenance

• Ensemble music organization and production

• Notation transcription

Qualifications:

• Must be a current VCSU student with Federal Work Study eligibility.

• Students with experience and background in music are preferred.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to move about. Will be walking most of the shift.
