Job Position: Experienced Voice & Data Technician
Location: Waco, TX 76701
Pay Rate: $20 $25/hour
Employment: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediate

We are hiring an Experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our low-voltage team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with structured cabling, network infrastructure, and commercial low-voltage installations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A cabling

• Install and terminate fiber optic and coaxial cabling as needed

• Install patch panels, racks, cable trays, J-hooks, and cable management systems

• Perform cable testing, labeling, certification, and documentation

• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and low-voltage drawings

• Troubleshoot connectivity, termination, and cabling issues

• Perform punch-downs and RJ45 terminations

• Install and organize network racks and telecommunications equipment

• Work on commercial construction and service projects

• Maintain clean, professional, and code-compliant installations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in voice/data or structured cabling

• Strong knowledge of commercial low-voltage installations

• Experience using cable testers and certification equipment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active job sites

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
