Immediate opening for a VDC Coordinator in metro Atlanta.
Summary:
Our client is a leading electronical contracting firm that has an immediate need for a VDC Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this role will have started their career as a commercial electrician and transitioned into a CAD role, or someone with direct experience performing modeling work for a commercial electrical contracting firm.
Key Responsibilities
Ability to follow direction from VDC Mangers and Project Leads to model all electrical components in Revit.
Develop and maintain detailed Electrical models in Revit based on the Contract Drawings, Specifications and NEC requirements.
Coordinate electrical systems with all other trade partners using Navisworks and Autodesk Forma.
Create highly detailed shop, install and prefabrication drawings for field and prefab use.
Maintain accurate as-built models throughout the life of the project.
Required:- 2 plus years of modeling experience with Revit
- Experience with modular construction and prefabrication processes
- Proficient in modeling electrical systems including conduit, equipment, supports, and related components in Revit
Location: Smyrna, GA
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $38-$48/hr.
