About the Role
The VDPS Operations Specialist is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing operations for the Van Dyke Performance Space within the Greensboro Cultural Center. This position supports front-of-house operations, rental coordination, technical production support, and event logistics to ensure successful performances and community events.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus 1-3 years of experience operating professional lighting consoles and sound systems in a live performance environment
(Equivalency) Associate's degree plus 3 -5 years of experience operating professional lighting consoles and sound systems in a live performance environment
(Equivalency) High School Diploma plus 5-7 years of experience operating professional lighting consoles and sound systems in a live performance environment
(Equivalency) No High school diploma/GED plus 7 or more years of experience operating professional lighting consoles and sound systems in a live performance environment
Experience with mixing boards, amplifiers, microphone placement, and Signal flow
Ability to troubleshoot lighting and audio equipment during live events
Familiarity with rigging, cable management, and Safe-stage electrical practices
