Role Overview

• Own the end-to-end integration workstream for a major pharmaceutical client's migration from Veeva CRM to Vault CRM.
• Lead the full integration lifecycle from:
  • Discovery
  • Assessment
  • Design
  • Development
  • Deployment
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • UAT support
  • Validation
  • Hypercare
• Manage the integration estate across a multi-organization and multi-geography environment.
• Act as the primary integration delivery owner and coordination point between:
  • Platform vendor
  • Partner System Integrators (SIs)
  • Client data teams
  • Upstream and downstream enterprise system owners
• Govern integration tiering, estimation, testing, delivery, and true-up activities.
• Ensure integrations are delivered on schedule, validated, operational, and observable.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Delivery Ownership

• Own the complete integration delivery lifecycle for all in-scope integrations.
• Manage integration assessment, design, development, deployment, testing, and hypercare.
• Ensure integrations are remediated and operational in Vault without disrupting business operations.
• Confirm and re-baseline the final integration inventory and change types following discovery.
• Identify and incorporate new integrations introduced during the program.

Tiering, Estimation & True-Up Governance

• Govern the Tier × Pattern model.
• Apply tier criteria and per-integration counts to drive:
  • Integration rebuild estimates
  • Per-integration test sizing
• Manage post-discovery true-up activities.
• Identify in-flight legacy changes and re-baseline integration counts at agreed intervals.

Cross-System & Multi-Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate SME availability across upstream and downstream enterprise systems.
• Sequence testing around release schedules for:
  • ERP
  • HR
  • MDM
  • Marketing Cloud
  • Monitoring platforms
• Lead cross-team defect triage and escalation.
• Resolve external team dependencies that could block integration testing.
• Coordinate integration design sign-offs with the platform vendor.
• Lead joint design forums with:
  • Platform vendors
  • Partner SIs
  • Client teams
• Establish conflict-resolution and escalation processes.

Wave Sequencing & Environment Readiness

• Drive integration sequencing across a multi-organization wave plan.
• Coordinate:
  • Environment readiness
  • Test-data provisioning
  • Code promotion
  • Integration deployment
• Manage dependencies on vendor-owned components, including:
  • Vault Java SDK
  • Core metadata migration tooling
  • Data migration tooling
• Ensure development activities are not blocked by external dependencies.

Testing, Validation & Go/No-Go

• Own end-to-end System Integration Testing (SIT) planning and execution.
• Manage:
  • Test scripts
  • Test data
  • Test execution evidence
  • Defect management
  • Retesting
• Ensure upstream and downstream systems actively participate in testing.
• Deliver CSV/validation artifacts according to client standards.
• Maintain complete requirements-to-evidence traceability.
• Provide Go/No-Go recommendations for each migration wave based on:
  • Defect status
  • Test results
  • Environment readiness
  • Validation criteria

Observability, Hypercare & Transition

• Implement observability and monitoring connections across the integration estate.
• Lead integration hypercare activities against P1/P2 SLAs.
• Establish and manage:
  • War-room processes
  • Triage cadence
  • Incident escalation
  • Production monitoring
• Transition integrations to steady-state operations.
• Prepare:
  • Runbooks
  • Operational documentation
  • Knowledge-transfer materials
• Conduct knowledge transfer to client Tier 1/Tier 2 support teams.
• Obtain formal handover and transition acceptance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Veeva / Platform Expertise

• Strong experience with Veeva Vault CRM.
• Strong experience with Veeva CRM (Salesforce-based).
• Experience with Veeva CRM-to-Vault CRM migrations.
• Knowledge of Vault integration components:
  • Vault REST API
  • Direct Data API
  • Spark Messaging
• Strong understanding of:
  • Vault data model
  • Vault security model
  • Veeva Align
• Vault CRM Certified preferred/required.

Integration & Middleware

• Experience with Apache Iceberg and/or Databricks.
• Experience with Snowflake is beneficial.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and Databricks integration patterns.
• Experience with Spark Messaging architecture.
• Strong REST API integration experience at scale.
• Experience with:
  • Informatica PowerCenter
  • Informatica IICS
  • Informatica ICRT
  • MuleSoft
  • Marketing Cloud automation

Delivery & Leadership

• Experience with Tier × Pattern estimation and true-up governance.
• Strong SIT planning and execution experience.
• Cross-team defect management and triage experience.
• Proven multi-vendor delivery leadership.

  • Client teams
• Experience leading global onshore/offshore teams across multiple time zones.
• Strong integration program and delivery management skills.

Compliance & Validation

• Experience working in GxP-regulated environments.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11.
• Experience handling PHI/PII.
• Strong understanding of Computer System Validation (CSV).
• Experience with:
  • IQ/OQ/PQ
  • Requirements traceability
  • Validation evidence
  • Multi-region data residency

Data & AI

• Experience with Iceberg Lakehouse enablement.
• Experience supporting AI platforms and use cases such as:
  • Customer targeting
  • Route optimization
• Experience with MDM integrations.
• Knowledge of Reltio or similar MDM platforms.
