Overview:
Group 1 Chevrolet Hub City is part of Group 1 Automotive, one of the largest and most respected names in automotive retail. We're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Vehicle Accessories Installation Technician to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with vehicles, take pride in quality workmanship, and have strong mechanical skills, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Install a wide range of vehicle accessories, including:
- Grill guards, Front end replacements
- Hitches
- Camper shells
- Side steps
- Driving lights and light bars
- Bed covers
- Spray in liners
- Misc. accessories
- Perform installations to manufacturer specifications.
- Diagnose and resolve installation issues.
- Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
- Work effectively as part of a team while managing jobs independently.
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude.
Qualifications:
- Experience installing aftermarket vehicle accessories (preferred).
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with automotive electrical systems is an advantage.
- Ability to read installation instructions and technical manuals.
- High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Current driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and handle vehicle accessories.
- Must be able to pass respirator exam.
