Objectives
Individual is responsible for the brand and image of the Delaware County Transit facility and equipment, as well as overall bus cleanliness, and reports to the Deputy Director.
Job Standards
A high school diploma or GED required. Work consists of moderately complex, relatively standardized tasks, processes and operations following established laws and procedures. Individual understands work processes, methods and use of equipment.
Essential Functions
Vehicle Attendant Specific:
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing Delaware County Transit vehicles and buses by adhering to a routine cleaning schedule
- Detail buses to a set standard as represented by DCTs brand standards
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues using the standards set out by DCT
- Cleaning responsibilities include but are not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, detail cleaning, window washing, and other custodian related assignments
- Maintain regular checks on supplies for buses
- Operate DCT owned vehicles as needed
Facility Attendant Specific:
- Stock supplies regularly in restroom, breakroom, and other common areas
- Cleans and maintains facility including but not limited to floors, windows, lighting fixtures, restrooms, breakroom counter tops, appliances, and office furniture
- Responsible for overall facility trash disposal and recycling
- Grounds work as needed, including the facility and all assets
Overall Job Functions:
- Performs duties in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations and employers policies, procedures, and guidelines. Successfully completes initial training program and retraining programs and classes as assigned.
