Overview: The Sr. Vehicle Content Optimization Analyst helps evaluate content and pricing opportunities by building clear business cases, comparing scenarios, and highlighting the expected impact on volume, margin, incentives, and customer value. This role partners with cross-functional teams to turn performance insights into practical recommendations for in-market vehicles and future model years.
Key Responsibilities:
Review monthly content performance across nameplate, trim, option, and price band to identify commercial opportunities or risks
Build business cases and scenario views that support content and pricing decisions before commitment
Estimate potential volume, margin, investment, take rate, and incentive impacts to support prioritization of content actions
Develop clear recommendations that compare options, explain tradeoffs, and support in-market or future model year decisions
Partner with Market Research, Pricing, Finance, Brand, and Planning to align assumptions and incorporate customer, competitive, and financial inputs
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree Required
Minimum 3 years of experience in product planning, pricing, finance, commercial analytics, sales operations, project coordination, or a related role
Strong analytical and organizational skills; able to review data, identify follow-up questions, and maintain trackers or basic models
Ability to work across functions, gather inputs, document assumptions, and drive open items to closure
Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills; able to prepare clear status updates, feasibility summaries, and action trackers
Preferred Qualifications:
Automotive experience or familiarity with vehicle trims, options, packaging, or pricing processes
Exposure to pricing, packaging, take rate, incentive, or business case inputs
