Job Title: Vehicle Emissions Lab Technician
Job Description
The Vehicle Emissions Lab Technician safely prepares and conducts vehicle emissions tests on chassis dynamometers while supporting a wide range of testing, maintenance, and project activities in a laboratory environment. This role combines hands-on mechanical and electrical work with careful adherence to safety procedures and test schedules, contributing directly to accurate emissions measurements and continuous improvement of lab operations.

Work Environment
This role is based in an emissions laboratory that conducts vehicle testing using chassis dynamometers and emissions analysis equipment. You will work on-site in the Chino area, Monday through Friday, with core hours typically between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., subject to schedule needs set by leadership. The position involves hands-on work around vehicles, mechanical systems, and electrical equipment in a controlled lab and shop environment. You can expect to use computer systems and specialized software to support testing and documentation. The role may require overtime on weekdays and occasional weekends to meet testing demands. Safety procedures are a central part of daily operations, and you will work closely with a collaborative team focused on accurate testing, reliable equipment performance, and continuous improvement of the facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
