Vehicle Exchange Specialist

Summary:

The Vehicle Exchange Specialist is responsible for selling new and used vehicles along with acquiring vehicles from out Service Department and current customer database.

This position is 100% on-site.

Essential Duties include the following; however, other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

• Automotive Sales
• Daily appraisals of our Service Department guests' vehicles.
• Making multiple outbound phone calls daily to generate in dealership appointments
• Responsible for daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Tracking all activity in Elead.
• Working with prior sales and current service customers to generate car deals
• Fostering relationships with customers
• Leading customers through the entire acquisition process
• Educating customers on financial products and financing options available
• Leading the customer through the financial paperwork process
• Following up with customers after the acquisition

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The individual should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent, desired
• Minimum of one (1) year sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of vehicle leasing principles; basic mathematical concepts (such as adding, subtracting, dividing, multiplying and percentages); equity values and depreciation; and laws that govern retain automotive sales
• Ability to coordinate activities with other employees
• Read and comprehend instructions and information in the English language
• Learn and understand the federal, state, and local laws which govern retail auto sales
• Must be able to work independently and with a team
• Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to multitask
• Must have exceptional communication skills both written and oral
• Must be able to learn quickly, be adaptable and handle a demanding environment
• Ability to multi-task projects, establish priorities, work independently and organize effectively
• Must have a valid sales driver’s license and maintain an acceptable and safe driving record

Individual will be required to:

• Able to withstand outdoor weather.
• Regularly to talk or hear.
• Frequently required to sit and stand for a long period of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.

Base Hourly Rate of $16.90 plus commission compensation which can range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) with no upper limit.
