Automotive Installation Technician
Location: San Francisco, CA Pay: $30.00–$40.00/hour Job Type: Full-Time | Contract
Build the Next Generation of Vehicle Technology
We're seeking skilled Automotive Installation Technicians to install and validate advanced hardware systems on vehicles in a fast-paced production environment.
This role is ideal for mechanically inclined professionals who enjoy hands-on work and have experience with automotive repairs, electrical installations, manufacturing, assembly, or other technical environments.
Responsibilities
Install hardware components on vehicles according to detailed work instructions
Mount, align, and secure components using hand and power tools
Route wiring harnesses and connect electrical components
Perform system power-up procedures and verify proper hardware operation
Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout the installation process
Read and follow technical drawings, diagrams, and assembly documentation
Document completed work and report issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
Follow standard operating procedures and quality standards
Support continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with automotive repair, hardware installation, assembly, manufacturing, or mechanical work
Comfortable using hand tools and basic power tools
Strong mechanical aptitude
Ability to read technical instructions and assembly documentation
Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work around vehicles throughout the shift

Monday–Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Approximately two weeks
After Training
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Shift assignments are based on business needs.
