Our team is dedicated to making not just products, but a lifestyle that is truly sustainable.If the idea of building out the future sparks your imagination and intersects with your skills, we'd love to meet you.Role Summary We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of Interior Systems to lead and actively participate in the development of interior systems, furnishings, and user‑centric design elements that align with Pebble's mission and exceed customer expectations. This role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on engineering responsibilities, guiding a team while also directly contributing to high‑priority design projects.Responsibilities Lead and mentor the Interior Design team, setting strategic direction for interior systems, layout optimization, and ergonomic enhancements, while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Actively contribute to the design and development of interior components, including furniture, storage systems, HVAC integration, lighting, and control interfaces, from initial concept through production using advanced CAD tools and computational analysis (FEA, CFD).Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including engineering, industrial design, UX, and manufacturing—to ensure that interior designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards within timeline and budget constraints.Oversee and maintain critical design documentation, including CAD models, specifications, and BOMs, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date information is available for the project team.Conduct detailed design reviews, offering technical feedback to enhance product quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.Serve as a subject matter expert on materials, manufacturing processes, and compliance standards for interior components, driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for innovation within the product portfolio.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.10+ years of experience in automotive, RV, consumer product design or transportation interiors with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA V5/V6) and design analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD).Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards in interior design, including lightweight composites, upholstery, and modular systems.Excellent strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including stakeholders, suppliers, and customers.Experience in a fast‑paced, startup environment, with a hands‑on, self‑starter approach to design challenges.Benefits Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401k, Unlimited Paid Time Off$156,000—$218,000 USD#J-18808-Ljbffr
