Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator - Garden City

Join Our Team!We are seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Coordinator to oversee the maintenance, repair, and compliance of our electric utility cooperative's fleet assets. This position plays a key role in ensuring our vehicles and equipment remain safe, reliable, and ready to serve our members.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate preventive maintenance and major repairs with outside vendors across multiple service locations.Maintain fleet maintenance and repair records in compliance with DOT requirements.Conduct fleet inspections and identify repair needs, safety concerns, and DOT inspection requirements.Analyze repair and maintenance costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.Manage parts and supply inventory in collaboration with district and purchasing personnel.Assist with vehicle specifications, fleet purchases, and annual equipment budgeting.Perform basic maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.Participate in safety meetings and training programs.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Training and experience in general mechanics, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems required.Welding experience preferred.Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no restrictions required.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel throughout the Cooperative's service territory.Why Join Us?As a member of our team, you'll help support the reliable delivery of electric service by keeping our fleet operating safely and efficiently.
