Job Description
Join Hertz as a Vehicle Operations Manager and play a critical leadership role in keeping our fleet moving and our operation running at peak performance. You'll lead vehicle operations teams, drive operational efficiencies, oversee fleet readiness, and create a culture focused on safety, accountability, and results.
Salary:$50,000 annually + Company Vehicle.
What You'll Do:
- Lead daily vehicle and fleet operations to ensure vehicles are rental-ready and available to meet customer demand.
- Coach, develop, and motivate frontline employees to achieve operational goals.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and process improvements across the operation.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to support business objectives.
- Support recruiting, training, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
- 1-3 years of leadership experience in operations, logistics, hospitality, transportation, or a related field.
- Proven ability to lead teams, solve problems, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to influence others and manage change effectively.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
- High School Diploma required.
