Transports individuals to the directed destination according to program and agency guidelines. Duties and Responsibilities:
Minimum Training & Experience: Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or transporting individuals.
Must maintain a valid driver's license. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Requires regular lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds unassisted, including assisting individuals when required. Requires frequent bending, reaching, repetitive hand movements, standing, walking, squatting, and sitting, with some heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling exerted regularly throughout a regular work shift.
Preferred Qualifications: Ideal applicant must have experience working with the developmental disabilities population and operating a 10 to 15 passenger vehicle, operating ADA Equipment Vehicles with Wheelchair Lift. Pre-employment drug screening may be required. Selected applicant will be subject of an FBI Criminal History Record Check, and the applicant has the right to challenge the contents of their Criminal History Record Information, should they choose to do so.
