This is a role for professionals who stay calm under pressure, think methodically, and communicate clearly. Whether navigating unpredictable road conditions, supporting passengers with confidence, or documenting nuanced system behavior, AVOs bring both precision and professionalism to every shift.

Before deployment, operators complete structured online training and hands-on vehicle certification, ensuring they are fully prepared for this safety-critical environment.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee autonomous vehicle performance in real time, ensuring safe operation in dynamic conditions
  • Stay ready to take control instantly when safety requires human intervention
  • Identify, document, and report unexpected system behaviors with clarity and accuracy
  • Deliver a professional, reassuring experience for riders while representing the company
  • Contribute feedback that improves vehicle performance, comfort, and overall rider experience
  • Conduct routine safety checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
  • Operate within established safety protocols while adapting to real-world scenarios

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license 3+ years of driving experience with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable with driving Autonomous Vehicles
  • Methodical and process-oriented Organized and able to document daily summaries
  • Able to maintain composure under pressure
  • A technical background working with electronics, mechanical components, or computers a plus

Benefits

Full-time schedules will be 30+ hours a week, Part-time will have a minimum of 2-3 shifts per week. Shifts are TBD, FT will likely be between 6-8 hours, and PT will be 5-7 per shift.

Shifts: Morning: 5:30 am - 12:30 pm / Mid: 8 am - 2 pm / Afternoon: 12 pm - 6 pm

*Must be willing to work Saturday*

Pay Rate = $26 per hour
