Immediate need for a talented Vehicle Transportation Lead with experience in the Logistics Industry. Job ID: 19-44736 Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Monitors service levels to ensure external carriers meet service requirements Works with service providers to resolve service inconsistencies Dispatches information to service providers to schedule freight movement Resolve vendor performance issues immediately to ensure carriers are paid on time Analyzing local reports of inventory levels Travel to local client sites to audit inventory levels and quality compliance Create exceptions reports Contact and follow-up with vendors regarding exceptions from those reports Participate in daily conference calls with vendors and clients Minimum 1 year+ of related experience required Basic level MS Office Must have reliable transportation and willing to drive personal vehicle to client sites Able to work independently with minimal supervision Our client is a leading Logistics Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
