The Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation & Reentry (ADCRR) is seeking to fill the Vendor Operations Administrator position. This position is responsible for facilitating contract and vendor management activities across all agency projects. Key responsibilities include developing operational procedures and policies, serving as the project manager for multiple large, agency-wide initiatives, and managing agreements between ADCRR and external vendors. Organize, track, and report on vendor-related activities, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs), while managing day-to-day vendor communications and relationships. Additionally, this role will interface with Agency Business personnel to facilitate project implementation, change requests, and project privatization. Creates and analyzes vendor performance reports based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), partners with the Procurement Services Bureau on contract issues, and administers contract updates or amendments.

Job Duties:

- Manages operations, open tasks, and vendor agreements
- Coordinates a portfolio of projects by communicating responsibilities and status, identifies risks, and promotes success through collaborative strategies to ensure timelines, budgets, and ADCRR priorities are met
- Develops, organizes, and maintains tracking systems, spreadsheets, and administration of vendor-tiered support, SLA's, and contracts
- Creates vendor performance reports
- Tracks vendor billings and disbursements
- Manages and tracks all vendor-related tickets and issues
- Facilitates the management, planning, implementation, and tracking of all vendors and contract-related activities
- Communicates and builds relationships with vendors/vendors representatives, and Agency Business unit personnel to effectively manage all support-related activities
- Researches, plans, convenes, facilitates, coaches, and manages projects to meet the needs of the Division and Department's high-priority initiatives
- Drives on State business, may involve traveling to off-site locations
- Performs other duties appropriate to the assignment

Selective Preference(s):

- Associate's degree plus 5 years of project experience and vendor management, coordination of vendor activities, administration of vendor contracts, and tiered support

Pre-Employment Requirements:

Employment is contingent on the selected applicant passing a background investigation and possibly a medical/physical examination.

If this position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job, then the following requirements apply. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current, valid class-appropriate driver’s license, complete all required training, and successfully pass all necessary driver’s license record checks. The license must be current, unexpired, and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to driver’s license record checks, must maintain acceptable driving records, and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C.) R2-10-207.11).

In an effort to maintain a safe environment, all employees are required to take a Tuberculosis (TB) test during their New Employee Orientation and every year thereafter.

Retirement:

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS). Enrollment eligibility will become effective after 27 weeks of employment.
