    The Trust Operations department supports the Edward Jones Trust Company by ensuring consistent, well controlled execution of trust and custody activities while managing operational, regulatory, financial, and third-party risks to protect clients and enhance the client and branch experience.

    The Vendor Risk Analyst will oversee vendor risk management, support Trust Operations, conduct risk assessments, monitor vendor performance, and provide risk reporting to leadership. This role requires strong analytical and process improvement skills to drive operational efficiency, strengthen controls, mitigate risk, and support scalable, client-focused outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

    What You'll Do:

    • Support daily Trust Operations activities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and firm standards.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational, vendor, and third-party risks through effective oversight and risk management practices.
    • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and issue resolution to ensure quality outcomes.
    • Partner with Risk, Compliance, internal stakeholders, and vendors to address process gaps, support audits, and strengthen operational controls.
    • Analyze and resolve complex operational issues, escalations, and business challenges.
    • Lead process improvement and change management initiatives that enhance client experience, efficiency, and scalability.
    • Support new products, operational enhancements, and vendor transitions by evaluating impacts and implementing sustainable solutions.
    • Leverage data, reporting, and performance metrics to identify trends and provide actionable business insights.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
    • 3+ years of financial services experience, including risk management and control evaluation, preferred .
    • Experience managing vendor relationships, monitoring performance, and resolving service issues.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to independently resolve complex issues.
    • Experience identifying, assessing, and mitigating vendor and operational risks.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Power BI and operational reporting experience preferred.

    Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week.
