Overview: The Vendor Service Specialist is responsible for approving, tracking and monitoring all outside repair work at NFI Industries sites that are not handled by an NFI Maintenance facility or that is not handled by NFI Driver Services. This position will report to the Vendor Service Supervisor. Responsibilities:
  • Approves all necessary repair work
  • Coordinates and follows up with vendors to arrange and complete work
  • Provides data entry on repairs into database system
  • Coordinates vehicle mileage reports on all company vehicles
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in truck/trailer repair and/or Fleet Maintenance
  • Computer applications using MS Office
  • Prior experience in management and technical / operations mechanics
  • Excellent negotiating skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent technical skills
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $66,037.14 - $88,049.52.  This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%.  NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
