Position OverviewStand-By Personnel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Vent Assembly Technician for a first-shift manufacturing opportunity in Tulsa. This position is responsible for assembling vent products according to specifications, operating hand and power tools, inspecting completed products, and supporting production operations.
Candidates must be flexible and willing to
rotate between the Vent and Core departments based on daily production requirements.
The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing or assembly experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to use basic measuring tools while maintaining quality and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Ability to accurately use basic measuring tools
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Ability to read or follow basic blueprints
Strong attention to detail and product quality
Ability to assemble components according to specifications
Willingness to rotate between Vent and Core departments
Comfortable performing repetitive hands-on production work
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Reliable transportation required
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assemble vent products according to production specifications
Review work instructions before beginning assembly
Follow applicable blueprints and assembly requirements
Use hand tools during assembly operations
Safely operate applicable power tools
Measure and position components as required
Assemble and secure parts according to instructions
Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
Identify obvious assembly defects or workmanship concerns
Maintain consistent production standards
Rotate between the Vent and Core departments as needed
Support additional assembly and production responsibilities
Maintain clean and organized workstations
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Assist coworkers with additional manufacturing tasks
Perform additional assembly duties as assigned

Fastening and securing parts
Finished-product inspection

Candidates should be comfortable completing hands-on assembly work while maintaining consistent quality and accuracy.
Vent & Core Department RotationThis position requires flexibility to support both departments.
Depending on daily production requirements, candidates may:
Assemble vent components
Assist with Core department production
Move between workstations
Prepare materials for assembly
Support additional manufacturing processes
Inspect completed components
Help maintain consistent production flow
Assist coworkers with changing workload requirements
Candidates must be comfortable transitioning between assignments throughout the workday.

All tools and equipment must be operated according to established safety procedures.
Blueprints & Work InstructionsCandidates should be able to:

Verify completed work against applicable requirements
Communicate unclear instructions or discrepancies
Measurement & Quality InspectionCandidates may regularly:
Measure components before assembly
Verify part positioning
Inspect completed products
Check assemblies for visible defects
Identify measurement discrepancies
Maintain consistent workmanship
Communicate quality concerns promptly
Help prevent defective products from advancing through production
Production Responsibilities
Maintain established production standards
Complete assigned assembly work accurately

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
Ability to safely lift and move materials as required
Manual dexterity required for assembly and tool operation
Comfortable performing repetitive physical work
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Ability to work around manufacturing machinery and equipment
Ability to wear all required PPE
