Looking for a
DO-178 Verification Engineer responsible for performing software verification and validation activities in compliance with
DO-178B/C guidelines for safety-critical aerospace systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test procedures for embedded avionics software.
- Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing.
- Perform requirements-based testing (unit, integration, and system-level)
- Conduct structural coverage analysis (MC/DC) as required by DO-178B/C standards.
- Validate software against requirements and design specifications.
- Document test results and prepare compliance reports.
- Collaborate with development and system engineering teams to resolve defects and ensure quality.
Required Skills- Experience with aerospace standards (DO-178B/C).
- Strong understanding of software lifecycle processes.
- Proficiency in requirement tools such as DOORS, and any scripting languages (Python, Perl etc).
- proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
- Experience with configuration management tools and requirements tools.
Preferred Skills- Exposure to model-based development using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Knowledge of communication protocols: ARINC 429, ARINC 661, CAN.
- Experience with RTOS environments (e.g., VxWorks
