Roles & Responsibilities
Test Development: Translate hardware requirements into executable test procedures
Interface Testing: Validate board‑level and interface‑level hardware
Debugging: Isolate issues between test setup, scripts, and hardware defects
Code Practices: Maintain clean Python code, use Git, CI/CD workflows
Traceability: Document test evidence, setup instructions, failure modes
Ownership: Drive improvements in test reliability and throughput
Collaboration: Provide weekly status, share best practices with teams
Required Skills
Python Scripting: Develop, maintain, debug Python scripts for hardware validation (Strong Python Scripting Experience)
Hardware Interfaces: Hands‑on with UART/RS‑422/RS‑485, SPI, I2C, GPIO, Ethernet, CAN
Lab Equipment: Oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, signal generators
Debugging: Root‑cause failures across scripts, firmware, hardware bring‑up
Code Quality: Modular Python with logging, retries, error handling; Git, CI/CD workflows
Documentation: Requirement‑to‑test traceability, logs, captures, troubleshooting playbooks
Independence: Own test development end‑to‑end, improve reliability and throughput
