Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age.TDI is seeking a Veritas NetBackup Administrator to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This program is establishing a modern secure web service (SWS) operation as part of a state-of-the-art, highly automated platform capable of supporting a rapidly expanding customer population.This position is onsite 5 days/week in Arlington, VA and requires an active TS/SCI clearance.RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer and maintain Veritas NetBackup infrastructure (Master Server, Media Servers, and Clients).
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot backup and restore operations.
Perform backup policy creation, scheduling, retention management, and lifecycle policies.
Coordinate with infrastructure, storage, database, and application teams for backup requirements.
Maintain backup documentation, operational procedures, and compliance reports.
QUALIFICATIONS:
An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.
Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of overall related experience with a Windows or Linux server environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
Experience with application of security settings and other commercial best practices such as DISA STIGS.
Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
Experience with backup monitoring, reporting, and performance tuning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior experienced with DISA and DISA’s support to mission partners.
Experience with NetBackup Master Server and Media Server administration.
Familiarity with Oracle, SQL Server, Exchange, SAP, or other enterprise application backups.
Linux OS experience.
Understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity concepts
