## Phlebotomist Vernal Lab - PRN
This position is a PRN or as needed and is not a benefited position.
The job duties of a phlebotomist are as follows:
- Adheres to Infection Control guidelines
- Assists in maintaining and stocking phlebotomy supply inventories
- Performs heel stick and toe stick procedures
- Performs some dipstick procedures as needed
- Clerical responsibilities include:
- Utilizes the computer for various tasks
- Engages in public relations
- Performs documentation, filing, etc. duties
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- A phlebotomy certificate is required, with experience of 6 months to 1 year preferred.
- Must have computer skills and excellent communication skills.
- A medical background is preferred.
