JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Summary: The Vertical Account Manager (VAM) is responsible for driving specification and sales growth at assigned OEMs and End Users within oil and gas vertical markets. This role emphasizes solution selling based on total cost of ownership and ROI, leveraging Regal Rexnord's digital tools and platforms to enhance customer experience and brand preference. Key Responsibilities: Drive specification and share gain on new and existing designs at assigned OEMs and End Users. Support local AAM counterparts with product, application, and vertical market expertise. Promote Regal Rexnord brand preference through solution selling and ROI-based strategies. Execute disciplined sales processes including account planning (AOP, ATO) and CRM funnel management. Serve as a customer advocate, facilitating communication between customers, channel partners, and internal business units. Utilize digital tools such as DiRXN / Perceptiv to enhance customer engagement. Identify and communicate continuous improvement opportunities and product gaps. Collaborate across functions including Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales Operations. Engage with customer leadership (Plant Manager to CEO) to align solutions with strategic initiatives. Lead customer discussions to uncover needs and guide toward tailored solutions. Key Metrics: Sales & Orders Quota (Division and Total) Policy Deployment / ATO Quota CRM Activity & Call Logging Opportunity Pipeline Metrics (Volume, Size, Velocity, Close Rate) Sales Execution Metrics (Calls, QBRs, Training Events) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or related field preferred. Minimum 3 years of outside technical sales experience; Power Transmission industry experience and/or oil and gas industry experience preferred. Our ideal candidate will reside in the South-Central region of the United States, but we are open to other locations as well Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
