Cognite is seeking a strategic, experienced Vertical Marketing Manager to define our voice across the world's most critical asset-intensive industries, including energy, manufacturing, and life sciences. You will be the primary architect of our industry narratives, translating the power of Cognite's leading Industrial AI and Data Platform into compelling stories for the Energy, Chemicals, and Life Sciences sectors. In this role, you will bridge the gap between sales, our vertical Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and marketing functions, ensuring our vertical messaging is consistent, authoritative, and optimized for lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Vertical Storytelling and Content Development: Develop and govern a comprehensive library of vertical-specific content, including white papers, case studies, executive briefs, and blog posts that resonate with industry decision-makers.
- Support key industry events: Help drive and deliver the booth narrative and content to maximize our presence at events. Attend in-person demos and support lead-generation activities.
- Help Develop and Champion Marketing Campaigns: Partner closely with the Campaign Team to integrate vertical messaging into global demand generation programs, ensuring all assets drive high-quality leads and pipeline growth.
- Industry Governance: Act as the "editor-in-chief" for your assigned verticals, ensuring all external communications align with Cognite's brand standards and specific industry terminology/pain points.
- Sales Enablement: Create "battle cards," pitch decks, and industry playbooks that empower our sales teams to speak the language of verticals such as Energy, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences leaders.
- Subject Matter Alignment: Work with Industry Solutions and Product teams to translate complex technical features into clear, value-based business outcomes.
