Job Summary We are seeking a Vertical Turbine Installer Helper to join our team. In this role, you will install and pull Vertical line shaft turbine. Your responsibilities will include communicating with your team and machine shop to safely pull turbines and bring in for repair, assessing the project requirements, removing the old equipment, and installing repaired/new turbine. The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of safely handling equipment. Pay is based on prior knowledge and experience.
Responsibilities
Communicate with team and shop
Assess the project requirements, including method and equipment
Install turbines in ag, commercial, retail, and industrial spaces
Remove old turbines from a water well
Troubleshoot turbines
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Previous experience in turbine, pump, water well or related experience is preferred
Knowledge of hand tools, straps, and safety equipment
Ability to work with limited supervision
Excellent interpersonal skills
Physical ability to bend repeatedly, lift heavy objects, and work in small spaces
