Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Vessel Welder to join a premier manufacturing team in Catoosa. This position is responsible for performing high-quality vessel and structural welding using MIG and Flux Core processes while ensuring all work meets company, customer, and industry quality standards.

The ideal candidate has strong structural or vessel welding experience, excellent blueprint reading skills, and the ability to consistently produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced fabrication environment.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum of 2 years of MIG and Flux Core welding experience required
Previous vessel, structural, or heavy fabrication welding experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to pass required welding tests
Reliable attendance and dependable transportation
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform vessel and structural welding using MIG and Flux Core welding processes
Complete 3G (vertical) welds while maintaining quality and code compliance
Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
Produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards
Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines
Meet production schedules while maintaining exceptional workmanship
Welding Test Requirements
Candidates must successfully complete the following weld test:

3G Vessel Welding Test

  • Open root MIG weld

  • Flux Core fill and cap

  • Must meet visual inspection and quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
Additional heavy fabrication or pressure vessel welding experience
Knowledge of welding codes and fabrication standards
Experience working in industrial manufacturing environments
Strong fit-up and fabrication skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work throughout the shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
Ability to safely wear required welding PPE for extended periods
Comfortable working in an industrial fabrication environment
Work Environment
Industrial fabrication facility
Fast-paced, safety-focused manufacturing environment
Exposure to welding equipment, heat, sparks, fumes, and heavy materials
Required PPE must be worn at all times in accordance with company safety policies
