Position Summary: The Veteran Services Program Manager will oversee Goodwill’s Military & Veteran Services Program that provides support services to transitioning Veterans and their families with the goal of achieving job placement, retention, and long-term financial stability. This role will collaborate and leverage strategic partnerships in the community to assist clients in securing employment. The Veteran Services Program Manager will also develop and grow our program to maintain high-quality services based on best practices and research. Responsibilities include program and fund management, contract administration, and supervision of staff. The manager will focus on being a champion Anti-racism, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (AEDI) as part of their leadership.
Hourly Rate: $32.12 - $34.90 per hour

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervise Program Coordinators (3) and Case Managers (2). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret hard data and metrics. Ability to write creatively and articulately with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and average. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra when working on spreadsheets. Ability to create and manage departmental budget.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Other Skills and Abilities: Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of Veteran Services Program Manager
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Washington State Driver’s License and proof of insurance required
Other Qualifications: Must be able to travel throughout the community during business hours; reliable vehicle, insurance, and acceptable driving record required. Must be able to get clearance to access JBLM Self-motivated; resourceful, creative; high integrity; problem solver; looks to resolve issues; positive can-do approach; and ability to build effective working relationships.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
